Just got my wife an iPad for Xmas. What are some good shooting apps? Ballistics and such. I tried searching but nothing came up. Thanks in advance. And sorry if this is in the wrong spot.

Re: iPad apps?

i have the Nikon because i have a Nikon scope. it even shows what mil dot to use if you have your rifle zeroed at 300 and you want to hit 600. i also have Bullet Flight, and Ballistic AE but haven't used them in a while.

Re: iPad apps?

Man you have to get Gun Disassmbly. Really awesome lets you take different guns apart, and shows you in X-ray mode how it operates when fired. Sorry I know it's not ballistics but its really cool.

Re: iPad apps?

iStrelok I've only used it out to 400 but as long as your input is good it's pretty much dead on. Used it with 308, 223, and .22 hitting 6in steel at 300.

Re: iPad apps?

Cronyd some 210 vlds out of a .300 win mag 700 p. Put in the data on ballistic:AE and whacked a doe at 545 yards first shot. Bullet placed exactly where AE called for. Never looked back after that

Re: iPad apps?

I've had great luck with Bullet Flight.
