I use ballistic with the HUD, as it uses the JBM engine. I don't even consider the others real choices.

I have Ballistic FTE and Bulletflight, both have their pros and cons.

Exactly. Both have HUD, both are great, and they are different. I spent money on both, and am not regretting it.

I have an iPod Touch, running Bulletflight, and just got FTE.
Works great.

I have been using bulletflight for a while now without complaint. Only focusing on 5.56 and 7.62 factory rounds though. May have to check out FTE.

Ballistic FTE and Bullet Flight - both latest versions, on iPod Touch 4 with iOS 4.3.1. Both work perfectly.

If you want to experiment without paying a few bucks you can try iStrelok. They have a free light version. It doesn't offer a full ballistics table but will give you dope for individual shots at a known distance. It's pretty primitive compared to the competition but it will at least give you an idea if it will fit your field application.

Latest versions of Ballistic (2.5.0) no longer supports iOS 3.x phones. Found out the hard way.

bought the Knight's BulletFlight L2 and "Ballistic" for my Ipod,
But, if i was going to buy another for the Ipod / IPhone, it would be "Ballistic FTE"
For the cash, it has a lot more features then BulletFlight..

Since there are so many FTE users posting up here maybe you all can help a brother out. What is the y Intercept for? most people say to just set it to 0 but I want to be sure.
