Is anyone doing custom RPR builds?

I am finding myself with more disposable income than time lately. I know the RPR can be modified fairly easily by anyone with time and ordering parts, but is there anyone putting together and selling customer configured Ruger Precision Rifles right now? A google search just shows a bunch of places to order parts and people doing their own builds.

Nothing wrong with the ruger I've owned 3 and each one was upgraded. That being said pva John Hancock would be a easyyyy choice for 2k, upgrade chassis maybe down the road. Switchbarrel 223/308/mag.. just my .02

Rpr/ trigger/ bolt shroud/ barrel/ brake/ rear stock/ seekins forend.. all adds up?

the options we have now are pretty incredible.

nucleus/origin + bravo (or chassis or choice) + barrel in caliber of choice from PVA (or others) + trigger of choice

around the same price as an upgraded RPR as redeye3 mentioned above, but leaves you with a lot more options of stock/chassis and trigger moving forwards, plus you'll have a better action and more options with bolt heads etc

I would LOVE to go the AI route but I don't have THAT much disposable income. The reason I was looking at the RPR is that it has a few features I am interested in. Folding stock, barrel that can be changed out by me in the future (including swapping to 6.5), and of course a lot of the other parts are AR compatible, including SR-25 pattern mags.

I looked at the PVA site, it looks like the only barrel length they offer for 308 is 24". I definitely want to stay in the 18-20" range, plus the RPR offers the other features I mentioned above. I am very open to other suggestions, just landed on the RPR because it checks a lot of boxes.

you can change the barrel on any savage small shank type setup pretty damn easy, or any other action with a prefit shouldered barrel for that matter

PVA offers lengths from 18-26" in a wide range of contours in about any caliber you could want for about every action out there

folding stock is available on most chassis. MPA, MDT, AI, KRG

AR compatible is nice, but doesn't always give you the best solution ergonomically, it just draws guys in from the AR/3 gun world because they'll be comfortable

PVA Handcock is a nice option. Is the OP willing to wait a year for it?

For some reason my rprs didn't work well with metal sr25 mags(wouldn't snap in), I just use arc or magpul aics mags. Rpr does have nice features for the price but the 308 barrels are hit/miss.

Finally got mine to like 175rdfs/xbr8208 but took awhile.

Ruger is a nice rifle. I like mine quite a bit. Mods are pretty damn easy that any competent gunsmith with AR tools and a go/no go gauge can do. Maybe Mile High sells them and has some of the mods in store and can assemble them?

I might call Mile High tomorrow and ask them. I have done business with them twice in the last few months, and words can't describe how impressed I am. If they are an option for anything, they get my business.
