While often said to be "extremley rare" I have seen three Glock 18's in my area alone. Wether they were OEM or conversions done by SOT FFL's I dont know. Point being that I dont see a 100 round drum bringing any more or less attention to a class3 item.
Glocks aside there are several carbines that accept glock mags so what makes it any more or less of an issue than 100 round beta AR mags or 100 round Surefire mags hell lets throw 50 rnd 10/22 mags in while we are at it.
On second thought why dont we just all go back to using 10 round mags like in the good old days of the AWB.
In instances such as these I beleive the product itself is less of a concern than how its marketed in regards to if it will do more harm than good to the responsible firearm comunity. I am very carefull to not say any item is a good idea (or ignorant) or not so long as it is lawfull to own.
Slippery slope for all of us as its not too far fetched to have our beloved precision LR rifles with DBM's rebranded as high capacity sniper weapons capable of taking out a tank.

I liked the guy smoking the cigarette while shooting. I dont see a purpose for this other than awwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwe factor. But its not going to lead to any ban or restriction.

Well take a look at the Giffords incident everybody was upset because the guy had hi-cap glock mags.

Awesome cooperation. If we will all just self regulate on our own then our opponents will have no need to regulate for us. Maybe next you could agree that optics that magnify more than 3x , or cartridges that carry energy farther than 100yds are also unnecessary.

Dont get me wrong I think the vid was horrible and the white trash guy with the camel doing the spray and pray only has appeal to a cetain demographic. Having said that who gets to decide what is and is not silly?
My original reply was not to defend the vid or start a pissing match with the OP but rather the notion that shooters should be wary of adding fuel to the anti gun fire. If we start as a collective saying something is silly or ignorant it gives the libs footing in their effort to prevent lawful ownership for the rest of us and its a slipery slide down the road of whats next on their list. Sorry but I remember the days of 80.00 glock 17 hi-cap mags and would prefer not to relive it again.

I don't care for AK 47's but some people like them and they are not much different than AR 15's which I do like, people have a right to own them, just as they have a right to own a magazine like this.
I think the video of the redneck doing the spray and pray makes gun owners look like idiots, but it his right to make a video and look like a fool.
If you don't like a product, don't buy it, I don't like Ak's so I won't buy one and if someone gave me one I would probably just throw it in the safe and not use it because I don't care for them, but if people want to buy them, and they aren't breaking any laws, they should be allowed to buy them.

Silly yes, and I am not planning any purchases anytime soon, but that is one more manufacturer on our team making money and one more enthusiast with a reason to fight for his rights.
