Looks to me like something has beat the mess out of it. Like it was hammered to the point that pieces are breaking off.Maybe I'm seeing the picture funny. But are you sure that's not a buildup of lead scrapings from the bullets catching the top of the chamber? I've seen where pushing against the frong of the magazine while chambering rounds can cause this.
No it’s not the firing pin. Probably just the bolt or extractor. I wouldn’t worry too much about it but I would take pictures to see if it gets worse.I wonder if my firing pin might be too long.
I was cleaning my Vudoo and noticed that the top of my chamber looks rough and worn down compared to the bottom edge. Is it supposed to look like that, or did I somehow manage to damage it?View attachment 7438294
No sir, your chamber isn't damaged but the breech face is impression'd. Everything will still work fine, but it's certainly aesthetically annoying. If you're interested in having it resolved, give the shop a call and let them know you and I "spoke" about getting your rifle back for repair. If you need to, shoot me an email, [email protected], and I can provide more detail, etc.

What would cause it to be impressioned?
Sure looks that way but still leaves unresolved exactly what Mike means by “impressioned” though the obvious guess is just that....something impressed a ding in the breech face. It's not lead. If it was lead, I would be able to scrape it off. Also lead deposits would result in more material, but there is less material here.
After post 12 this discussion was pretty much over. Mike said its no issue but if the op wants its fixed to contact him.
Shoot it or send it in seems like the options.
Might be a good idea to call them as they are usually easy to reach on the phone.

And how to prevent it from getting worse. Can you tell me what caused the issue?
If not the conversation is not over.

Look at post #12And how to prevent it from getting worse.
When I hear anything back from Vudoo, about preventing it, I'll post it here.
Can not agree enough with this. They found out they had a bad reamer and my dads was one of the possible culprits. Contacted HIM, not the other way around, and requested it back to fix it.Complete class act
