Is something going on in Ukraine?

at what point are these going to be unleashed?

V-1 flying bomb

These are modern equivalents of V-1

Iranians seem to be getting lots of free PR in Ukraine, they are boasting that representatives from 22 countries enquired about the purchase of these drones in past week alone. UN arms embargo on Iran's weapons sales or purchases expired in 2020 so Iran can trade arms like anyone else. I imagine Shahed 136 and 131 will be selling like hot potatoes, any 3rd world country can now afford a budget cruise missile substitute with 1500+km range.

Everyone firing their guns in the air probably doing as much damage in Kiev as the drones

Kievan Iron Dome aka ''Железный кумпол''

All I wanted to be was a rifleman. At MEPS when I saw my recruiter had me in an all encompassing Combat Arms package all I could think was I was going to be Artillery. Told them I wouldn't sign unless I was in the package that only included, rifleman, machinegunner, mortars, and assaultman/tows.

Told the Gunny at ITS I wanted Rifleman and he said tough shit ASVAB says rockets. So for being smart I got a rifle and two missiles and a tracker to carry in the mud.

Be thankful for little things.

In my case that was cadre from MSG Battalion that showed up in the squad Bay looking for volunteers.

I raised my hand and left the mud.
It’s funny how things work out. My Asvab was top end but the need wasn’t there I guess. I ended up in Iceland for a year because I volunteered for anything with a school.

I watched the video. A few questionable things:
The submersible drone is diving to about 260'. The small boat and umbilical for that drone seem very small for a project like this.
The supposedly end of the pipe appears to be severed in a very clean cut. Not typical of an explosive charge (Underwater demolition). More typical of a "shaped charge" like used to cut off piling when decommissioning offshore platforms.

Couple of blokes with their fishing trawler.........
Footage shown and the tiny drone are from a private company working for the local news crew hence the low budget outfit and footage.

That pipeline cut is absolutely professional work. Doubt it could have been done without experienced demolition divers. That narrows the field of potential actors significantly.

Whoever did it, thanks, you helped push this mess towards WW3.

Negotiated settlement could have ended this 6 months and tens if not hundreds of thousands of lives earlier.

Pretty clear there is no interest in peace.

(sourced from a DC think tank,so take with a large grain of salt)

US military rated as ‘weak,’ may not be able to win one war, as tensions grow with China, Russia

Marines rated strong. Somewhat surprisingly, AF was rated weakest.

Larger story is every national media outlet is talking about war. Must be AP talking points orders from DC, maybe to distract from the economy's problems?

It's always a good idea to read "The Art of War" by Sun Tzu long before the war starts.

Oddly, I think China may want gridlock in DC (Republican house and/or senate) just to keep Joe (Joe's handlers, that is) from responding quickly when they take Taiwan. Just after our elections are settled (usually several weeks after election day, depending on how well Dominion is doing their thing) is when I think the Taiwan blockade starts.

Russia is doing a good job of burning up our resources. Were shipping everything but the kitchen sink to Poland and surround countries, we've drained the strategic petroleum reserve and the Fed is dynamiting all western economies.

The video you posted appears to be after wards, done by a private team. “They” have already removed the damaged section from the sea bed, these guys are filming after the fact, clean cut section of pipe is just that, cut.

They removed about a 150ft section where the vid you posted was taken.

The fact that somebody in a small fishing boat was easily able to send a handheld robotic device down there, Shows how easy something like this would’ve been to pull off

Note that “they” have still yet to release any real substantial evidence, not one picture... nothing!

Understood... In the off shore pipeline world, the ship removing the damaged section would be the ship that replaces the section that needed to be removed. Similar to the dive ship I posted a photo of. It does not take a lay barge to make a simple repair. Surely there are off shore pipe line contractors in that region that could have the line back in service in short order.

This is looking more and more like a political propaganda expedition.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but I think the pipelines are operated by a private, non-russian company (switzerland). The 'investigation' is being handled by the swedes because it's in their economic zone (not territorial waters). No-One seems to be interested in repairing them??? I'm sure there's permits/permissions required before any repairs and doubt those are being handed out due to 'crime scene' or just 'reasons'. It almost looks like everyone involved knows exactly what happened and all may even be in on it (including the russians). I am about 99% sure that who/whatever is calling the shots wants to destroy western civ and probably the rest of the world.

Those are all possibilities...
The repercussion to leaving that line out of service for too long is there will be other forms of energy, suppliers and transportation that will fill that void. Perhaps that is the plan and "reasons" for the delay. Salt water intrusion / corrosion to the interior of that line is going to be a problem if it is not blown out and a pig run through it.

What I am saying is they came out and remove the destroyed section. How I dont know, but i saw a longer version of that video and they claim the section is missing, video seemed to show that. Assuming its legit

It definitely could have been repaired, but “they” don’t want that. They would not even allow the owner, Gazprom into their territorial waters to investigate until after the removed all evidence.

Notd Stream Ag owns and is responsible but is a subsidiary of Gazprom, they have people in Switzerland that operate it. But they were not granted access, is what I believe the skinny is.

For instance Shell is owned by the dutch, BP the Brits. But they have US based companies working in the USA and multiple other countries. Fyi, my paps was a 30 year Shell employee.

So this admin. is intentionally destroying Europe to make us remain superior? That sucks. They are our allies. We deserve to be destroyed.

Well, it's a global uni-party that is really sinking the entire ship. It's greed and ineptitude that keeps the Biden/Obama administration going along with the whole plan I think. You have to destroy before you can rebuild, and none of these evil overlords care how many suffer and die in the process. It's just that Russia is not going along with the plan, so they need to be cut down.

We are at the top of their destruction (or "reorganization") list...so on or about the same time Europe goes down so do we. I hate that the globalist will "win" (or at least appear to), but it will happen. Because its in The Book.

At least if he is moving large amounts of ground troops for now he is more likely to use conventional weapons. I would be more concerned about a nuclear option if he wasn't using large numbers of personnel.

Fuck Europe.

There is a difference between sending billions of dollars over there and intentionally starving and freezing Europeans. Their administration are for the most part puppets as ours is. Sweden and Italy are showing courage; I wonder what those "tools" are that the WEF was talking about to reconcile this change.

just keep letting ukraine use up russian ord, and vehicles

everything they fire at ukraine or gets destroyed they have to spend money on replacing making them even weaker

no US soldiers (except for CIA and such that are there), no US blood and bankrupt russia so they vanish for another 20 years

the longer the war goes on the more the EU sweats and has to come back to reality, which is also a good thing for the US

id love to do the same with china if possible

out economy can handle it, china and russia cant

Everything Ukraine fires is paid for by "We the People"
No US soldiers there ? Supply a link.
The EU does not appearing to be sweating. They have their own fires to put out. The "war" has become the norn to them.
Do the same with China ? Lay out your battle plan for us to view.
Best take a look at our economy before stretching it any farther.
You trolling ?

we will pay for it with Ukrainians puling the trigger or if the US is pulling the trigger... so its the same money
would you rather it be poland whos nato and we have to put combat troops on the ground, of course not. Ukraine is the best situation of a proxy war with russia. allies all around and we didnt start it.

the 1st armored division is not in contact with the russians, thats US military involvement not a few supply lines and forward observers

the EU is firing up coal plants and restarting nuc reactors, both hurt the middle east and russian oil sales... which again is good for prices and for the US in the long run

china vs india, which might happen in the next 20 years anyway. let them bleed themselves dry of money, equipment and people.
best case for the US economy and military is to have china start wasting money rather than building up. we spend approx 1 billion every day of the war on terror, let china and russia do that for 20 years and see how how their economy is and if they can recoup

if 5 largest economies all drop 50%, which of the 5 is most likely to recover quickest...the US, some may not recover at all

Actually it would probably be Russia. Russia is probably the most self sufficient country in the world right now, and has almost no debt, last number I saw was around 15% of GDP. Here's Russia's top 10 exports for 2021:

Mineral fuels including oil: US$211.5 billion (43% of total exports)
Gems, precious metals: $31.6 billion (6.4%)
Iron, steel: $28.9 billion (5.9%)
Fertilizers: $12.5 billion (2.5%)
Wood: $11.7 billion (2.4%)
Machinery including computers: $10.7 billion (2.2%)
Cereals: $9.1 billion (1.9%)
Aluminum: $8.8 billion (1.8%)
Ores, slag, ash: $7.4 billion (1.5%)
Plastics, plastic articles: $6.2 billion (1.3%)

So they have all the raw and intermediate materials they need "in house", they really don't need much of anything from elsewhere to get by.

Russia is also no slouch in the tech area. The only way to get to the space station until 6 months ago was on Russian heavy lift rockets. And Russia actually manufactures their own phones and computer stuff. Where is your phone or computer made?

I'm no huge Russian fan, but to under estimate them and over estimate our own capabilities is foolish.

This comment right here. Nailed it. To be blind to one's own issues and see only the faults of others is a fatal flaw. How many wars, campaigns, and individual battles have been lost because of this?

Perhaps not "active duty" but ex-military there seems to be well versed in wars.

Probably too many to count. Sadly when I talk to people these days this is almost always the sentiment shared by the masses.

I won't say we couldn't pull it off, but it'll be an uphill battle all the way.

all true,

russian has been self sufficient for 70 years and they were never number 1 or number 5. there is a economic cap to russia, so while they may weather the storm their ceiling is limited.

we started using russian rockets because we changed priority and didnt fund new equipment...stupidly
one reason we started using russian rockets years ago was to help fund their space budget, the russian govt couldnt fund it.

im not saying we are set up correctly, but if needed we are capable of realignment and are more agile than any other country.
with in 2 years trump had us energy exporter, after being a importer since before WW2. no other country can move that fast on such a large scale commodity.

im not debating united states has issues, im saying every bullet our enemy wastes they have to pay for and we dont have to die for

if we have to get involved in ukraine does anyone doubt that it would be easier now than a year ago because of vehicles destroyed and countermeasures to captured top of the line equipment? of course it will be
id rather fight 2,000 tanks than 2500 tanks and so would everyone else.

ill take a depleted enemy and our munitions manufacturing pipline running fast then a full strength enemy and starting from scratch

thats why we won WW2, were were manufacturing weapons for a few years before we really got involved. if we had pearl harbor in 1938 wed be speaking Japanese and the allies would be speaking german because we would not have weapons to give/sell
