I don’t want to beat a dead horse, but honest question. Why hasn’t the Leupold Mark 5 HD 5-25 and 7-35 scopes been brought up at all in this discussion? Are they not of comparable value to the Razor Gen 2’s? Would they be a better choice at shooting 600-1400 yards compared to the Razor?

Shit reticles
More expensive
Charge many hundreds more for illumination when its a standard feature everywhere else.
Less reliable
35MM tube
Plenty of quality issues.
Both the Vortex Razor Gen II and Leupold MK5 with the new PR1 and PR2 reticles are fantastic options for under $2,000 which is why they fly off the shelf
Just for all the reasons that are stated after my post. Maybe they are great, don't know.
My decisions of purchasing scopes are made by studying reviews on here from guys that have a way better knowledge about them then I'll ever have (manly because of their profession).
That's why my only 2 top tier scopes are a razor g2 and a ZSO. If I would have gotten the later one first I may have skipped over the razor to.
Just purchase a mk5 and have fun with it. No reason to argue, just study all reviews and make a decision.
