That list is actually somewhat outdated, but yes...that is generally accurate.

Pretty much anything that is short action can be made to work in the 308 AR platform. 243, 260, 308, 6.5 Creedmoor, etc etc etc.

Believe it or not...they do exist. The biggest problem is sourcing parts and magazines because the 9x23 pales in comparison to the availability of stuff for your basic 9x19 AR conversions.

The easiest conversion in terms of sourcing parts would be: 1) the Oly Arms Sten Mag adapter; 2) Sten mags with the rear, center mag rib milled off the mag; and 3) a 9x19 barrel rechambered for 9x23. You also have to decide on whether to run a straight, gas blowback operation (as is the case with the 9x19 AR-15s) or going with a DI, gas-operated setup...both work but the school of thought is if you are going to run heavy loads through it, the DI works better and is less "violent" in terms of wear/tear on your components. That is very much a simplification of what's involved in the 9x23 AR conversion and as with all things, there is more than one way to skin a cat. Try running some searching for 9x23 AR and you'll turn up plenty of good info if you are serious about building one.

this is just a list i found honing my Google-fu, i didn't realize so many, and this does not include the 308 platforms or AR10
