Is this an HS or a McMillan?

A guy here in CO is selling a rifle on a local gun web site with out photo's, say's its a Remington, 338 Ultra, McMillan Stock, Brake and zeiss scope. for $1600.00. I emailed him and asked if he could send me a photo. This is what he sent. It sure looks like a Sendero with a HS stock on it to me. I've never seen a McMillan stock that looked like this. Anyone think this could be a Mcmillan?

Looks like your basic HS/Sendero style stock to me (grey spider web, no palm swell, etc.). I had the same stock on an original Sendero SF in 300WM.

Looks like a older VSSF. The new ones have a different forearm profile.

It is an HS I would bet money on it. My buddy ownes a 300rum sendero exact stock.

I've got a Remington Custom Shop Mountain Rifle with a McMillan stock and it doesn't have the flair at the foregrip. But it does have "McMillan" stamped on the inside. Ask him to take it off and send you a picture of the label....

Not sure if its an HS but Iv'e seen McMillan stocks in the service and they look WAY different.

McMillan's also have a steeper pistol gripped area with a textured feel no?

Yep, sure looks like an HS/Sendero.

Thanks everyone for confirming what I was thinking. I forgot to add he also mentioned it had an Aluminum bedding block in it. So that too makes me think its an HS.

mines a HS, and it's exactly like mine, so i'd assume hes bullshitting, but i could be wrong.
