Rem 700 223 in our Classic O.D. Green Cadex Strike Nuke EVO stock topped with Nightforce glass in front of some nice wheels! Maybe this is Bob’s Truck gun? Let us know what you think!

It's a Harris. I bought it directly from Harris more than 10 years ago.

I actually run Atlas bipods on everything but the goal for this rifle was something that could be put together for a reasonable cost and be a comfortable, accurate, solid shooter hence Harris vs Atlas, NF SHV vs ATACR or some other higher-level glass, mid-level mini-chassis vs full on skeletonized chassis, etc. The barreled action is from a Rem 700 SPS Tactical I bought used years ago. I had SAC do a bolt knob conversion when I originally bought it and had a Timney trigger in it, but I replaced that with a Geissele Rem 700 trigger. The only thing purchased new was the Cadex Strike Nuke and the AccurateMag mags (and the Harris). Everything else is second hand.

It shoots 1/2 moa with IMI 77gr razorcore and Black Hills 77gr OTM. I'm going to try some Southwest 77gr SMK and I think I have some Nosler match around somewhere. I don't reload, but I bet it would be phenominal where some tuned ammo.

Interesting. What does a bare chassis weigh?

It weighs in around 5 pounds and was designed as a cheaper stock alternative for NRL/PRL matches.

Used the short and long action stocks in the two Remingtion builds I did and are quite happy with them. They have a McMillan/Manners A4-5 feel to them, which is a plus.
