Rifle Scopes Is vortex a cheap quality company?

Long story short, each product line is manufactured by different suppliers. The razors i believe are made in Japan, while the cheaper budget options are made in China if i remember correctly.

I like vortex. Is it cheaper made yes but they also have one of the best warranties around and imo is plenty of scope for the average user

Plenty of scope is never enough. It's completely dependant on the line.

I quit using them because I was way too familiar with their warranty process.

Mid level are definitely made in the Philippines. Sent one back to the factory last week. Second time I've sent it in. It worked great as long as you didn't turn the elevation turret. Anyone want to buy a scope?

Vortex had tiers of quality and is truly a"get what you pay for" organization.

Not to say the diamondback, crossfire, and strike eagle line is bad, but in comparison to their high end line (razors) it's not even on the same plane of existence.

Guys down range with a limitless budget have run the razor 1-6 with good results....that should be enough for anyone.
