Assad was working with Iran to help build Iranian nukes in Syria, until the Israelis leveled his nuclear assembly plant one day and then of course agreed with Syria that there never was such a plant and there never was such a bombing raid...
Syria is never getting the Golan Heights back under their or their proxy control.
