Issues with 22-250 chambering

I have loaded around 1000 rounds for my 22-250 using remington brass and nosler 52 grain bullets and never have had a problem.

Recently I decided it was time for new brass and I figured I would switch bullets as well. I bought 200 rounds of factory winchester to fire form the brass and just have something to mess with. No problem what so ever.

After forming all the brass was neck sized with a 20$ RCBS die (has expander ball), then the flash holes deburred, pockets cleaned and necks trimmed .1 below specs and was loaded with 40grain hornady V-max. For some reason these bullets will chamber but are VERY tight and have a slight grinding feel as the bolt closes.

Because of the die bumping into the shell holder on the press the cases cannot have their shoulders bumped at all, but this has never been a problem before. And no, the bullets are not loaded into the lands.

Any ideas?

Did you try full length resizing, to see if the problem disappears?

That's the route I was planning on going but I was hoping someone could call me an idiot and point out something simple to fix this before I go order anything haha.

What does a sized empty case do? Most likely you need some shoulder bump from an fl die.

Yeah a sized empty case is still a tad bit rough. Not bad but still not as smooth as a unfired case. I am just confused because this just started happening, the die has not changed and the previous X amount of rounds were fine.

It's the brand of brass, Rem to Win.
Forster makes a neck bushing, shoulder bump die. Not FL, but will bump the shoulder, spendy, but a good thought.

Sounds like the shoulders still need a little more bump.

Thanks for the help, I figured it is something to do with the brass, just wanted to ask around before I go spend the 65-90ish on a new die.
