Its time for Tac Op Porn

As promised, here is my Tac Ops Delta 51. I had this done in Birdsong Black T on the barreled action and bottom metal. Brandon (Short Bus) did an amazing job on the stock. The fit and finish is incredible. Sunday is range day so I'll have that report later.

You got to be happy with that?? very very nice!!! You have a lot to live up to, judging by your test target ;) Sunday can't come quick enough i bet

Thank you sir for the info. Now to decide which one I want. Decisions, Decisions.

You will want to call and talk to Mike as he'll help you make that decision. He'll ask you a battery of questions and be able to steer you towards the configuration that's best suited for you. Then again, if you already know exactly what you want, he'll build that as well.

Wow, it's rare to see a TacOps rifle topped with an optic that costs significantly more ;)

If you're silly enough to paid the $7K USD or $8k AUD price this would be the case.
you could get those scopes for significantly less, individually still a bit more than a S&B 5-25 in Australia but pretty close.

X-Ray 51 with the McMillan A4 instead of the A5, RazorHD 5-20 (Which has been removed since the picture was taken and Is awaiting the incoming S&B PMII 5-25), .308, and then awaiting suppressor paperwork on the TacOps Tac-30 Suppressor. Haven't even been able to shoot it yet, it literally came in 2 days after I left overseas. However, I eagerly anticipate shooting it at the beginning of the year upon return! Mike and his crew are the best people I have worked with and I am sure the other owners of these beauties can agree.

The Sentinel is very nice! I much prefer it to my old AICS (still a bloody good chassis). The more you shoot the rifle, the more you begin to understand just how refined and brilliant the stock is... Add in a 591 and get one of the top smiths goin' to put it together, ya can't go wrong!

As always from Tac Ops, the rifle shoots phenomenally and is beautiful to boot. And yes - your rifle is the first .308 Tac Ops has built on a Sentinel chassis. Congratulations, and welcome to "The Club".

It was only a matter of time! I have been telling a buddy that this would be the ultimate Tac Ops Build, someone beat me to it... :)

Just a teaser for now. Mike *claims* that it's 3 rounds, but I'm skeptical.....

Congratulations on getting a Delta 51 and Welcome to The Club, Uriah. That is the second smallest Certification Target group I've seen, and shot with my favorite scope. Don't beat yourself up if you can't beat that group, as Mike uses a front rest with sandbags front and rear when he certifies his rifles instead of a bipod. My Certification Target was a huge .071" and I've equaled (or beat) that whenever I've had to dismount the scope and re-zero it for some reason or another. Again, congratulations. Now get out and shoot that masterpiece!
