Re: J Allen Enterprises Holiday Sale

I have a friend (shop owner) who has paid for 4 of the stocks in full and two more 50% paid for almost a year now and hasn't received one yet.

I know this thread is old but any updates on the company. Was interested in a 700 stock from them but kinda worried I won't get it from the posts I've read on the forums

JAE is a small shop and not quite set up to handle the demand their stocks have generated. They are nice folks and make a good product, but their delivery times for new orders are in excess of 12-18 months for the "buy it now" option and 20-24 months for a "normal" order. This is for their Gen 3 M1A stocks. I don't believe the JAE 700 is getting out the door any faster.

With lead times like that, they won't have to worry about excessive demand long.

I would take a JAE 700 in any color, new or used. I cannot consider paying a huge amount up front for a delivery of over a year away, if at all. Is delivery as bad as it appears?

Are there any other chassis systems that look like a traditional rifle instead of an AR made of odd parts lying around. If I want to feel a .45 handgrip, I will pick up a .45.

AI or nothing, I guess!

I have several recently on order and also spoke to them at shot. They are quoting 12 months now as the backlog is getting caught up. If you want one e-mail me [email protected] they require a deposit but it is reasonable

I'm coming up on 29 months waiting into a quoted 9-12 month wait for a Gen 3 M1A stock.

JAE's products are extremely high quality and Lisa is a nice person to deal with... but tripling their estimated lead time would probably get you closer to reality.

Fastest way to get one is to find a NIB or slightly used one from a dealer, on a forum, or gunbroker.

Comfort in numbers?? 31 months and counting on a JAE-700.

I got both of my JAE stocks within 9 months. I love the 700 it fits me like a dream, and the 100 brought my groups down drastically. If you can wait the time get their stocks they are so worth it
