The main things you need is a brain that works, a rifle that goes bang and some DOPE.

Other than that its all fluff.

What is the max distance we are going to be engaging targets? I have dope out to 1k but if we wont need that much I can scale down a card for the match.

600yds is the max.

hows the access road?, is it a swamp after today?

it poured all day today. i have to give a big thank you to my cousin "Just Plinking" for spotting for me today getting my dope on my new load for 400-600 today. i needed someone as dumb as me to spot for me in the rain. we were a couple of idiots in the torrential downpour rain today getting my final dope because i had to work the 2 previous beautiful days this week and pick the one that rained for the range day . the scopes kept fogging up and dealing with the fog whiteout a couple times while shooting. when i stood up after the 600 yard time, at least 5 to 6oz of water poured out of the foreend of my stock and the worst part is i didnt even feel it when it poured on me and my clothes were 20 pounds heavier

You are very welcome my friend. Less than optimal conditions for sure. If its 60, cloudy with torrential downpour down there I have faith in your dope being accurate beyond that no promises haha.

Do it man.That would just look cool.

Reminds me back '01- '03 I used to run some Subgun competitions and we had a guy that rode his Harley to every match with his M16 9mm SMG sling across his shoulder. Never once in all those years did he get stopped.

Thanks for putting on a great match. We had a great time and enjoyed shooting a different style match than we are used to. Nothing like taking your first ever line-of-sight shot in a match. It was a bit of a drive but worth it and hope to do it again sometime.

First off:

Scores JUST went out. If you did not get them, please let me know.

Second thing:

I am glad you all had a fun time. That is the main goal Glen and I have, is for you to enjoy the shooting sport and learn something. The 2nd goal is to get return people for classes. So if you ever want to take a class keep us in mind please.

I had a great time and enjoyed talking to as many of you as I could between the 2 gallons of water I killed, the two Monster Drinks and half a can of Copenhagen I found time to score some and talk a little.

It was a GREAT time!!!!

The 2nd shot you all are talking about is a Line of Site shot. You all need to read up on such things in FM 3-22.68 Chapter 5 and READ he WHOLE FLIPPING thing.

If you have questions, you got my e-mail and I will clear up any questions you might have.
