Range Report JBM ballistic

I am loading for my 450 marlin
the bullet is a 550 gr cast bullet with a meplat
of .365 (80%)
to get the most accurate ballistic on JBM
what G should I click in
G1- or G2 there is 9 different one?
if this is of any help the BC for this bullet is 230
at 1550 fps

Use G1. In almost all cases, the BC is given for G1, unless specified.

You can convert that to a different drag model though with some calculations. Ballistic offers that as an option, for example, if you wanted to convert your G1 BC into a G7 drag, for example.
