I worked with several Marines over my career (including a very good friend that went to recruit training with me on the buddy program) that had changed their last names due to family issues. I don't see this as odd. You want to keep your father's name who molested you (just an example).

I must say i pretty much agree especially when i’ve read a review his book by someone also from same area (2018) as in “i climbed out if shit all left in shit its their own fault”. I’m really afraid Trump is
on the same path as the first term hope i’m wrong (also the praising of SS etc…) but this last week was really dpressing for me as i really thought that assassination attempt ( i was sure they will do it) will be a final straw. Apparently not.

It's an election year and the Demoncrats are floundering, there will be a propaganda blitz to help them make up the slack.
Yep. This is simply the best ticket we have now and most of the real work is done at the base level anyway. Having a group of likeminded guys at the elite tier just makes it easier to get grassroots messages out, bills passed, funding directed to the right places, and top level support for the work going on in the middle and ground levels. All gun owners need to join the GOA. Local and state level elections still need as many participants as possible so we can get pro-gun, pro-USA, pro-community reps elected. When you have a hardline GOP president but the local officials and DAs are all RINOs and Soros plants, nothing is going to get done. Everything has to be synchronized and we at the base level will have to put out our own work. Organizing town halls. Organizing Appleseed events. Historical reenactments are a great venue to remind everyone of current issues and that in the current time, we got our fight to continue. All of these count.
So who else is there? Rubio, Burgum and Scott don't help because he already has FL, ND and SC. He picked JD to hopefully carry the rust belt, where this election will be decided. Nikki is a neocon. I don't like politicians any more than you guys but I don't think this is a bad choice.

Inform others. Vance is a come from nowhere, billionaire backed politician that presents reasons to be skeptical about. Does anyone really fully trust this guy? There is a high likelihood that he will disappoint versus prove to be an America citizen/middle class guy. With that said, the guy has a chance to prove himself, so we shall see. I will never really trust any politician as they are so corruptible. I would never tell anyone not to vote.

At the very least, voting for Trump even if you hate him will throw a spike strip in front of the democrap agenda. Voting for Trump is self defense.
Too many people missing a huge point, if this follows the typical political playbook, Vance would be the next presidential candidate to follow Trump. The issue with the VP pick should not just focus on who would help Trump win, it should be on who will be the next presidential candidate after Trump! Can Vance win that presidential election? In this day & age, if this country is going to survive it has to be about the long game. It will take more than 4 years to recover from the damage done in the last 4 years, so the Republicans are going to have to be able to hang onto both the presidency and congress for more than 4 years! Vance would have to break all past vice president performance records to be that next presidential candidate. Needless to say, Trump has not always been willing to share the success limelight. Hopefully Trump facing his mortality will lead him to making sure that Vance is the next "apprentice" for president.

Make no mistake, I have no delusions of the purity of any politician on either side of the fence, but I can ascertain whose stated desires and past record more closely resembles my own desires and make a rationale choice. As far as VP goes, despite possible globalists ties, JD couldn’t possibly be worse than Kamala has been. It’s all about perspective.

Hmmmm, definitely was not thinking a Trump win would have any power to “stop Gods chastisement” of us; this is not a righteous vs. unrighteous situation…….they are all unrighteous. Interesting though, that it was not in Gods will for Trump to get assassinated a few days ago, so there’s that to chew on. And I’ve read the Bible and while I agree, the over all solution is for Americans to repent, I don’t see that happening according to the text, so I have no expectations that any politician will lead us in that direction other than the antichrist, and I don’t believe Trump fits that role.
We are imperfect people living in an imperfect world. Essentially there are two paths we can follow. Trump checks the boxes that are important to me. Lower taxes, border security, less violent crime, strong economy and the 1st and 2nd amendment etc. We have lived the alternative.
