Hunting & Fishing Jeb got us another one

I bought my youngest a new "secret squirrel" hat because he loves to hunt squirrels and thought he'd really like it. I gave it to him yesterday and he broke it in good this evening with his second deer of the year...says this one is going to be jerky

My best times of many years in the field have been with my kids. He made a nice 120yd shot in the rain....I was proud.

Thanks for the kind words. The little fella has killed everything from this small doe to a buck that scored in the low 140's. He is just happy killing deer no matter what it is and that's how I try to teach him. Enjoy it and don't be a slave to the trophy....enjoy the time and the hunt.

Congrats to you and your son! The best times I ever had in the field were the times that I spent with my sons. All 4 of our boys hunt. They are grown now, I miss taking them a lot. Enjoy while you can.

Congrats on the deer. Its great to see kids hunting and even better to see dad's taking them hunting. He must be just like my two boys. Kill a deer, want jerky made out of it, then eat in day. LOL.
