I read somewhere that the RB isn't a drop in replacement. Is a smith required to install it? I've replaced R700 triggers before, is there something different about the RB?

Thanks </div></div>

My RB dropped right on in and has functioned flawless for 100's of rounds.

So far between the RB, Timney, and Jewell... There has been nothing specifically negative said about the RB or Timney. Several negative reports on the Jewell. I have no dought that the Jewell is a great trigger, but why would I spend nearly twice the money on a it when I could have a good, crisp, consistant break with the RB or Timney.

I'm not trying to start a fight here, I just want to make the best investment for my hard earned money.

Timney's have been good to me. Never had to clean it through thousands of rounds. Goes off every single time I pull the trigger and doesn't go off when I bang the rifle around with the safety off. I have felt Jewels before. While they do break nice and light. Having issues with dirt and crud doesn't make for a very good trigger.

Can I ask who has an excellent two stage trigger?

I prefer the two stage after going that way with my tac rifles.
