Wow. Ed Calderon is a former Tijuana police officer with a ton of different bad ass credentials. Its probably one of my favorite JRE episodes. With that said, the reason me posting about it is, Rogan asked him about the whole migrant caravan epidimic. Ed was present during the caravan and basically shocked Joe's balls when he 100% concurred with Trump and the right leaning media when he spoke about the caravan and the people of Tijuana not wanting the caravan there and how a huge part of mexico is pro trump. He shocked me too. I could just hear millions of heads explode when Ed talked about how the american media twisted the narrative of what was really going on there. He was literally there when the famous photo was taken of the woman with her kids running from the gas canisters. He explained that right before the photo was taken, the caravan was throwing rocks at the border agents and thats why the gas was utilized. He was so particular about it that i would seem like either Trump was accurate on everything going on down there, or Trump was directly paying Ed Calderon to say these things. lol. If you want to listen, i think you can skip to the 1 hour mark. Its somewhere around there, give or take 5 minutes. I encourage you to listen to the whole episode b/c it was amazing.

I've followed Ed for quite a while via IG and Facebook, and he was posting on FB about that caravan and all the other bullshit when it was happening. His wife actually got stuck in Mexico for a bit when they shut down the border due to the caravan nonsense. He's a walking encyclopedia of knowledge on the cartels and general crime and such in Mexico. He's on my short list to take a class with, as well.

If the classes are not in NM or CA I'm interested in a link / contact info. Probably lots of other good Americans on here are interested as well. Thanks in advance.

    Great watch.

Ive travelled extensively in Mexico, mostly before it got so fucked up, have many friends there. I learned a lot from the video. A few times, usually late at night in a bar, I got approached by Cartel members...Very friendly and would all have the same line..."Why are you in Mexico?" When I told them "Just visiting the ruins." Id get handed a business card and hear the same thing..." If there is any thing I can get for you while youre hear just give me a call." Once in Chilipanchingo, Guerrero, a cop came over to talk to my girlfriend and I. He kind of ignored me and focused on her and tried to give her a card which I intercepted and put in my pocket. It wasnt til I woke up at 3 am and realized how much Id fucked up. You dont offend the 'machisimo' down there. We left in a hurry in the morning. Its gotten so fucked up on every level there and I wont cross the border for anything.

The story he told about the Mormons was right on. If you go SW from Juarez to the area around Nuevas Casas Grandes its amazing. Theyve turned the desert into an oasis just like the Israeli's did. Not only the Mormons but German speaking Mennonites as well. Its weird to walk around in Mexico where all the the people are short black haired, and brown skinned, and seeing tall blond people with blue eyes.

I loved his take on walking into a Denver dispensary and having an old lady hand him a 'special cookie'. LOL

The best thing to do is follow him on Facebook and Instagram (Ed's Manifesto), he posts class dates on there. He travels all over the US for classes, and you can even work with him on a site and getting enough students to bring him in for a class. All of his classes are *very* hands on, especially organic medium and counter-custody.

Thanks. Maybe I'll see you at one.
