Rifle Scopes Junk scopes

Ok I buy and sell a few rifles here and there. Over the year I end up with a box of junk scopes mounts rings and misc other parts. I see air soft open sights as BUIS all the time. Anyone else have this problem ? What do you do with all the crap you collect?

LOL, mine are in a scope parts bag. Problem is the only thing I go looking for is a scope ring screw replacement when one wears out. Never seems to be the right size anyway.

My cheap family and friends have come over and grab something out every now and then. Gave some to the kids around here for bbq guns. This Chinese crap just spreads like the plague tho.

I make strange home movies displaying the ballistic destruction of the junk scope along with messaging with whatever lessons were to be gleaned from their ownership of said junk scope. Then I mount the destroyed scope to a trophy plaque with the fired case and whatever remains of the bullet and send it to the prior owner of the scope as a reminder.

That's what happens to the junk I've some how came into possession of. I've bought some nice rifles that had the biggest POS optic bolted to it that you could get from Wal-Mart.
I had one acquaintance that had a bolt action .50 cal. and a BSA 3-9 on top of it. Never figured that one out.

If item is not worth it to sell, give away to a beginner shooter to get them started. Or if item is so junky then into the trash it goes. I'm in the process of clearing the garage of a decade worth of clutter that has accumulated.

Most guys I have seen at the range with 50cals have had the biggest POS scopes on them they usually show up shoot it around 5 times at 100yds and are thrilled with there 5 MOA group the rest of there range time is filled with other people that dont shoot very much hemming and hawing over the rifle.
