Just Freakin Graduated! PWS-WTBN Quantico, Va

Just graduated on Friday the 6th. I remember trying to chase down information about the course on here some 2 years ago and shimmying my way in the front door over a year ago. Finally done and out on the production floor!

After all of that, we do some heat treating, Rockwell Testing, surface grinding, welding, refinishing etc...

After all this, they finally let us work on some guns...

Here is one of my M40A5 Rebuilds.

And my final M1911A1N.M. (Averaging ~2.5" at 50 yards)

After all was said and done, I got my graduate certificate yesterday afternoon!

PWS makes and rebuilds the USMC sniper rifles and the Force Recon .45 pistols.

I meant it literally: That what he posted was interesting (as opposed to being more like the gratuitous criticism we so often see here).

But you are correct. Perhaps I should have said: Well Done. My mistake. I did not mean to downplay his accomplishment.

OP, awesome accomplishment! The military had handed you a career! Well, that may be a mis-statement. You've worked hard and taken a career from the military after you separate. Well done

Yes we do side-jobs but not for monetary gain, of what I've heard from other 2112's is you can get paid in tools, parts, beer, etc...
