Have you tried tapping the FA to see if the momentum of your first round being chambered isn't quite closing that last 5% of the rotation?
When you chamber the first round do you let the bcg fall on its own using the bolt release/ or ripping the bolt back by the charging handle and letting go from full pull back?
Or are you riding the charging handle forward when you chamber the first round?
Interesting-OP has loaded 1000s of 223 and pistol rounds...and “knows what a primer going off sounds like.”

Calm the fuck down cupcake. If you go back, you started it all when you said you knew what a primer going off in a case inside a chamber sounded like. I offered solid advice, maybe out of the box advice. I even said good luck. You brought the typical millennial name calling into the mix.
I have offered some of the most sound advice in the reloading section in my 9 yrs here. Guys like you are the reason guys like me let you figure this shit out on your own.

That’s exactly what it looks like when a primer goes off and no powder burns. Pull the bullets and see what’s inside the case.

I saw you use a case gage, so your shoulder bump is probably good. However, case gages are sometimes at max base dimension.
Do your loaded rounds easily and fully drop into and out of the chamber under gravity? As another member mentioned, does a stripped bolt easily close on a re-sized case or loaded round? These two tests are the reloading versions of GO/NO GO tests.

The rifle never "blew up", there was slight damage to the bolt, the chamber and everything else is fine, I replaced the bolt and it shoots fine, just having that one issue with the first round, and I'm thinking it's the reloaded case. Getting a comparitor and OAL gauge today and will check every measurement against a factory Match load.
In addition to finally recognizing your limitations, you may want to pick up some thicker skin, big boy britches and a fucking clue while you are out shopping.
This is the first paragraph from your other thread. It sounds like your rifle is doing the exact same thing it was doing before you ruptured a case head. My advice would be to stop until you figure out what the problem is. Something is obviously going on. Are you sure all the parts you have in this rifle are compatible? Have you checked the headspace?

Dude ppl are trying to help you in your many “what did I do wrong”, “what’s wrong with this” and “why is this doing this” threads and you are not giving full details, your telling everyone that has the knowledge to fix what’s going on, that they are wrong or your saying that’s not the problem just because you know it’s not the problem......obviously you don’t really know. They are just simply trying to figure your problem out, instead of telling ppl they’re wrong or that’s not the problem, just answer their questions because they are not there looking over you shoulder seeing what your doing, what has been done and what your procedure/processes are!

You will recoil at this question but are you sure there is powder in the case? Ask me how I know...
I’ve had that happen a couple of times, once with a .38 revolver and once with .308 rifle.
The rifle incident wasn’t dangerous as the bullet lodged in the throat of the rifling and wasn’t possible to chamber another round.
But, the revolver incident could have been a disaster. The primer pushed the cast bullet half way down the tube before stopping. Lucky for me I realized what happened and did not fire another until the barrel was cleared.
Reloading is serious business!! But rewarding when everything goes well and humiliating when shit happens. Due diligence is absolutely necessary.
