For the volume of brass I prep, there is nothing on the planet that is as simple, fast and clean as this Henderson trimmer. Saves your hands plus not to mention the time taking a three step process down to one pass.

The base plate bolts right up to my inline fabrication flat mount using two bolts I had laying around and the normal plate wingnuts.

The cutter head requires no adjustment, and in my experience is much quieter than the Giraud. I also like the fact that a collet holds the brass (Henderson) instead of trying to hold onto it with my fingers (Giraud)

I don't own either one, but I have used both and the Henderson is better.

Anyone using the AMP mate with a Giraud? F-Class John has a video up of his set up. Wondering if others are having great success with the automation?

I am not, yet. You’ll have to call AMP and get the custom firmware and load it into the amp mate when you want to use it with the Giraud. And then re-load the normal firmware for annealing.

So the caliber specific cutter head doesn’t require adjustment. Well I’ve heard of the Forster cutter head needing adjusting. The giraud doesn’t either once an individual is head is set up for a specific caliber.

The collet alleviating finger strain presumably and the noise are interesting points though.
