Well above and beyond my expectations!!
I was browsing their website recently and saw they offer a micrometer where they have ground off the measuring face with a 60° angle so you can measure next thickness much closer to the shoulder junction accurately.
I already own a micrometer so I called to see if they ever offer a service where they grind a customer supplied micrometer to the same specs as the one they said on their website.
Roger said no problem but they only do these in batches and he followed up with me about six weeks later to request that I go ahead and send it in.
For some reason my flat rate USPS box was undeliverable yesterday. I didn't check my tracking confirmation until after the post office had closed in Michigan and became worried that my micrometer would be lost in the dead letter office indefinitely.
I emailed Roger and told him what was going on and he said he would have Mary look into it. I got a call from Mary just a few minutes ago and she told me she actually went down to the post office to go look for it. Mary told me the postal clerk said the package was put back on the truck for another delivery attempt and the package was waiting for Mary on her desk when she got back to the office.
This was all done for an inexpensive service that I requested and I didn't even buy the micrometer from K&M shooting.
As far as I'm concerned K&M shooting has created a customer for life and I will be buying an arbor press from them when I get to that point in my reloading.
Please know that you can buy with confidence from K&M for your reloading needs!!
