K&M vs 21st century hand primer?

Trying to decide. I'm sure the 21st is more precise. But is it worth an extra $85?
And I have eliminated all other options, so if we can just discuss these two, I would appreciate it.

Never tried the K&M but have two of the Century 21 and definitely worth every penny.

They ran in to supply issues and don’t sell the primer hopper attachment model anymore.
But I have used both- yes the 21 is well worth the extra cost in my opinion in terms of consistency and feel

Took in all advice and went the opposite direction. The K&M shows up tomorrow. I just couldn't bring myself to pay double. I figure if it doesn't make me feel all warm and fuzzy, I'll return it and pony up the big $. I'll try to remember to post an update.

A bit late to your question, but I have been using the K&M hand priming tool for a number of years. I'm very happy with it and have never regretted getting the 21st Century tool or the Sinclair tool.

The K&M does what I want it to do. Easily adjusts for seating depth and uses the inexpensive Lee priming shell holders. Changeover from large to small primers is quick.

The K&M arrived. While I don't doubt the awesomeness of the 21 Century, I see no reason to upgrade at this point. The K&M is really well designed and executed. It has excellent feel. It has excellent depth control. With the way the ram is designed (floating sleeve), it is about impossible for a primer to go in misaligned. It is the most controlled and precise priming tool that I have ever used. The handle is a little tough on my thumb. I saw a video where someone made a wooden pad for the handle. I think I will do that too. Overall, I'd give it 9/10! Highly recommend!

I'm in the market for a new primer tool. Yes, CPS is the next best thing since slice bread. However, I'm looking at both of these same primer tools too.

Anyone have comments or real world reviews on this PMA? My google fu was weak

Surprised that nobody is talking about the Frankford Arsenal Perfect Hand Primer tool. It's got the great form-factor, quality machined, click-adjustment, AND ... it uses a hopper. Anything that makes me pick up individual primers and load each one individually ... is a loser for me. The FA tool is the right combination of quality, adjustability, and speed ... IMHO.

I use two K&M...one set up for small primers and one for large. They are excellent quality, but mine have been used for several years, so I don't know about current production. I think you'll be happy with the K&M.

The PMA tool looks really nice. So many choices to choose from. Depends what you want or expect. I'm just looking for consistent primer seating depth.
