Rifle Scopes KAC 30MM M110 Scope Mount

Has anyone tried a 50MM optic with the M110 mount? How well does it clear the top rail on an AR type rifle? Enough to fit a BC cap?

Looking to use a M110 mount to attached a NXS 50MM to a Scar.
