I have a hs stock on hand that i used on a build. Bedded, finished and the rifle is shooting in the .2s. Savage 4.4", criterion26" varmint 6br 1-8 twist, nss lug & trued barrel nut with ptg bolt head. Currently have a stock pack on it that has couple mouse pads sown under it and still need a smidge more. One piece rail and low rings are on it now. Have a karsten cheek piece, can a hs be drilled through or will it bust up when the cross bolts are tightened? Thanks for the help.

    Sir
Did you have to back fill the stock? Or was just mounting the Karsten OK?

The HS stock can be drilled for the Karsten rest as is. Mine can be tightened down plenty, and no problems with the hollow stock.

Same here. No problems, but I'm going to do an integrated adjustable cheek piece pretty quick. The Karsten, along with the foam pad, shifts my head too far off to the side and i don't like it.

Gonna send a pm also, but how much is that kmw hardware and do you/will you sell it? I couldn't find a price on that particular hardware, but saw others offering similar but they were way to proud, like $160 for just the hardware! I was about to do a full on diy cheek on my HS using ace hardware parts. But if the price is right and you can ship me the hardware I'd much rather do it the easy way...
