Hey guys, I have a rem 700 in McMillan A5 stock. It has an internal magazine (yes I know all the cool kids have detachable magazines, no I don't need it).
Is there a way to keep extra ammo handy on the rifle to top off the magazine?
I saw some ammo loops attached to the side of the stock and such.
Can you make some suggestions?
80% of my shooting will be done prone off a bipod if that matters.

It is not going to slide around even with the adjustable cheek piece raised?

Edit: went on their website, they even have one in lefty for south paws like me! Thanks guys!

Chris Kyle made his own ammo carrier that went on his left wrist and he could pull them out as he needed them. Depending on how much ammo you need to carry that might work. But stock packs are nice too. I also carry the little green flip up top carriers. An ammo wallet might be right.

I'm with you on the DBM. I have a rifle that will never get a DBM. They are nice sometimes but sometimes its nice with a BDL style. I know an ex sniper that prefers it anyday. He and many others must have his reasons LOL
