I had a great time shooting with John and Shanon as well as all the other guys in Squad 2. I swear I recall a few more hits on that stage than the video might indicate - really.

A big thanks to the MD and the ROs who gave up their long weekends and stood around in the pouring rain and mud and the steamy weather so we could have some fun!

I thought it was a fun match format with time to do some good shooting (until you started missing and then time drained away fast). I liked the general 'choose your poison' concepts. The shooting area was awesome. Some of the stages made you feel invincible and some of them made you want to pitch your rifle down the mountain and walk away. I don't think anyone felt like it wasn't a challenge.

Thanks to my squad who made it fun and again to the MD and ROs who made it happen. And congrats to Shannon for an impressive display of shooting.

I just want to say congrats to Shannon, Dustin, and Wade for some fine shooting.

I also want to point out that Floyd Cook who came in 5th (who kicked my ass) was shooting a 223! My hat is off to you Floyd that was some good shooting!!!

I shot the first match that was put on at rock castle. I can say it has come a long ways. I enjoyed the match and was good to see all my shooting buddies.
