Yep, I was wondering how long it would take the general public to get/see pictures of them(and others) running SCARs. Not a surprise really as it is made by FN as in Fabrique Nationale. I'd imagine it is safe to say we will see more pictures from this region of the world and host nation troops running the SCAR where we are involved and or have interests in.

Yesterdays pictures seemed like it was warm with women wearing short sleeves. These thin blooded soldiers look like they are ready for a New England October.

This doesn't surprise me. I've known Kenyan distance runners to wear full warm-up suits in very hot and muggy weather.
Considering half of Africa uses FAL's and the way we love to throw money at 3rd world shitholes.... Not really suprised.

Hmm...I read that as Armaheavy wishing the Kenyans the best in their crisis, rather than AQ. Doesn't really matter to me who is doing the attacking, I hope the Kenyans wrap it up with as few casualties as possible.
I have heard it said that HSM is a cell of AQ, because their battle flags are similar and they reportedly pledged allegiance in early 2012. I see them as separate, and as allies of AQ after the late 2012 merger/split fiasco.

I met a Kenyan soldier some years back. He was over here for some training at Benning, and his uniform may not have been the best, his boots certainly were crap, but that was what he was issued so it wasn't his choice.
He was probably one of the most professional soldiers that I met during my time.

That may be a file photo, but I watched live footage on Sky news (I love apple tv btw) and they were all over that mall in long sleeves with same Scars and what appeared to be M4s, one for sure running a Sopmod stock. I am sure we paid for them, and I wish them the best hunting when it comes to aq.
Thats a pic from Liberia. I was over there during the war in 1990. That guy looks normal compared to other of the rebels fighting.
Looking at the limited photos I have seen of the Kenyan soldiers with their weapons handling they look like they accepted their training.

I went in and removed a layer on the photo that consisted of DPMS cammo and the helmets. What I found was an Illinois reg plate on the truck and hoodies - this is actually a group guys arriving at a Chicago picnic!
I've been watching this on the news and I swear I saw at least one Kenyan military running and gunning with a tan SCAR. Most of the guys seem to be using old rusted HKs and AKs though.

I never saw any of the Butt Naked Militia but there was one guy that used to sit naked around the corner from the Marine House and if he had to run it would be footprint, footprint, footprint, footprint with a line running the entire length of his dash from his kick stand hanging down.
It's easy to not be impressed with that if you consider my Irish heritage, every thing is big, but even the dark green Marines spoke of that man with awe.
