Good morning every. I have bought a Kestrel 5700 elite. In Target Card… menu I found Trce voice. I red the manual but I don’t understand very well the meaning. Can you help me about that kind of information. Sorry for my English and i hope you can understand me. Thanks

You mean trace value?
It denotes the top of the ballistic curve as seen from spotter/shooter as a height value above target.

That is a nice tool for spotting as bullet trace is often quite prominent at the top of the arc.

Hello guys I bought my first Kestrel 5700 elite. The wind impeller rattles loud and sticks to the point where it won’t move even at 5-10 mile an hour wind. Is there a magnetic brake or some kind of calibration process. The Kestrel is new, it just arrived yesterday. Thank you for the help.

Send it back. That’s not normal. You set up and calibrate the electronics, that problem is mechanical.

Only calibration you would do out of the box is compass calibration. Pop the impeller out, wipe the kestrel impeller recess clean and around the impeller, then pop it back in. Make sure you don't press on the middle where the screw is. The triangle goes on the 12 o'clock like in Fig 1. After that turn on the 5700 elite, press settings button, change mode to weather, press up or down arrows until you hit WIND SPD and blow into the impeller for a minimum of 3 seconds to see if it reads wind. If not, the bearing in the impeller may be bad. If so either return to place of purchase and exchange or use the warranty service. You can also contact via private message @Kestrel Ballistics for further info.
