Kestrel Gun Management Sort Order

I have the Kestrel Elite and have about a dozen profiles for different rifles and ammo. I can't see any rhyme, reason or pattern to how those profiles are sorted under the Gun Profile Management section. My questions are ... (a) Is there a sort order, or is it as random as it appears, and (b) Is there any secret trick to invoking a specific sort order (like alphanumeric)? I can't figure this out.

I too wonder sometimes about this. No method for this exists to my knowledge.
I would like to sort them by hand.

So I just back them up, delete them from kestrel and add in the order I want.

Easy enough.

I have the same issue and it's frustrating. I'm OCD and can't stand an app telling me how it wants to sort shit out. Also, I deleted all profiles on the Kestrel, set Override rather than append, and started loading all my profiles back by selecting them on the app in the order I wanted them....For example, all my MRAD 338LM profiles first. It only adds 2 or 3, and skips half of them. Then I go to another gun/bullet profile set and add those. It skips some, for no rhyme or reason, and also sorts them in between my other profiles. It's clunky as fuck and it's starting to piss me off. There is no reason a 700 dollar device can't allow some basic functionality to sort these things out the way I want them.

Better yet, allow the user to sort by profile name. (223 77 SMK, 223 80 SMK ...)

Yeah on the AB phone app (not the kestrel phone app) I sort by profile name .. .and I add a 3 digit number to the front of the profile name to be the "sort field" ... so the 100s are my bolt guns, the 200s are my stoners ... the 600s are shooting buddy guns ... the 900s are experiments ... etc.

But I see no way to sort in the kestrel phone app or the kestrel itself.

But I do use a "code" in the kestrel profile names so I know what I am looking at

762B22155 (762 Bolt gun 22 inch barrel 155 SMK)
762B22175 (762 Bolt gun 22 inch barrel 175 SMK)
556S18077 (556 Stoner 18 inch barrel 77 SMK)

etc.
