Call Harris kind of early in the AM during business hours their time. If you are lucky you will talk to a Gentleman with a bit of an accent that knows his shit, but anyone you get ahold of there is GTG and you talk to an actual person and that is rare these days.
I did, in fact, post on the Hide sometime back where I was very impressed with Harris Customer Service when I ordered a few low buck items from them and my CC got hacked along the way and how they helped way beyond what I expected from anyone to get that staightened out. They are good people and helped me greatly. I do wish Harris would build better bipods than what is available now, but that was not the point of my OP, just Customer Service.
In that post a "Member" of this community did not do as he advises others to do,-- Read the whole post instead of just a little bit,--- then fly off of the handle with a rant about their products that certainly do need improved upon, and I agree with that.
I have met this "Member" in person at a shoot and I know he is a great person, but in that post he was going too fast between turns 3 and 4 , then hit the wall going for the Checkered Flags, he is still a good guy and I respect him greatly and will support him anyway I can.
The products I ordered from Harris were not bipods, they were a sling swivel kit for an AR, NOT BIPODS.
We are all just human and we ALL Fuck-up on occasion, so let's put this one to bed and all learned from it. FM
