I'm purchasing a KAC MK11 Mod 0 or the new KAC SR25 carbine in the near future.
Besides the rail system and the "cool" factor of having the gun stamped MK11 Mod 0. Is there a real difference in the quality of the weapon.

I don't see why there'd be difference in quality, they are both high $$$$ items from the same company.

Between those two I like the looks of the carbine a lot more, not sure if it's 4500$ worth of cool though.

I just saw a KAC SR-25 rifle and quality was excellent. Machining looked fine to me so not sure what is meant by that. It was a 20 inch barrel and there was a 16 inch LMT MWS next to it also for sale. The MWS looked great as well. The SR-25 felt lighter than the 16 inch MWS, but not sure I can justify double the price for the KAC versus the MWS.

I'm a sucka for well cut steel/aluminum. It's like functional art. I find the perfectly symmetrical cuts hypnotizing. Looking at the several SR's I've been issued and the LMT I own, It's nothing like my [censored] stuff. The machining and finish are in a different category. Not to say that has anything to do with function.

As an owner of 3 Knights platforms as well as many different mfg's Ar's, yes there is a difference. They use the highest quality parts and materials available. Not to mention, as a company, they do not rest on their laurels. They are on a mission to constantly improve their products. Good ole American ingenuity. There isnt any other company out there like it. (maybe, besides some boutique shop I've never heard of).
