I’m pretty sure a lot of us, especially AR crew, have/do/will use the excellent products from KNS Precision in Fredericksburg, TX. Most of you are not aware they’re sitting plumb in the middle of a very windblown 8600 acre wildfire that erupted yesterday. Their status unknown at this moment, but would ask for all of us to have a private word for their personal safety and of their business, as well. Really great bunch of folks, local to me, and just another of those businesses making a superb product in the U.S. Hope they’re safe.

Recently? Texas is big, and almost always on fire, somewhere… These are just the documented wildfires in Texas.

And, there are currently 186 wildfires in Texas, burning a bit over 50,000 acres…

Um, the chart shows that Texas is always on fire somewhere, listing 1000s of fires back to 2006. Here’s a current map…
