Precision Rifle Gear Kopfjager Or Hogsaddle?

I’ve narrowed my tripod choices down to a Kopfjager K800 CF or a Hogsaddle PIGlite CF4; do y’all have any experience with these? Opinions? Pros and Cons?

Can your rifle take an arca rail or picatinny rail section in front of the mag well?

If so, you will be lightyears ahead using the RRS Anvil ball head over the ones you mentioned. I had the pig and the night stalker... the clamp saddle attachments to the tripod are nowhere near as secure as ARCA/picatinny

the RRS Anvil can clamp onto picatinny no problem

if you got to shoot the saddle vs arca/pic side by side you would NOT buy the clamp versions.

works really well too

don't know how long you're going to be behind glass on the tripod, but one mistake and your suppressor/muzzle/scope hits the surface you're standing on

if you're capable enough to not have that be a concern, it works great

at a timed match where your full attention is on your rifle and it's only on there for 60-90 seconds, it works great

for hunting/glassing for a period of time, or if you're distracted it might not be a sustainable solution vs locking your gun into the tripod

you know what is best for you
