It comes with both a sling stud and a pic rail section so you can choose which you want to use.
Do they usually come with the pic rail when you get the stock or is that an extra purchase?

The spigot is better option. It bolts to aluminum backbone, very rigid. Rail or stud on polymer forend will flex, unless they have changed it. The one I was around just bolted to plastic, not what I'd prefer.
The rifle feels much more balanced with the spigot on. Get the minimalist if you’re concerned about weight, I have the standard spigot and don’t think it weighs much at all. It’s like 4 ouncesOk, the spigot is more sturdier, lol.
Nice! Gotta love the Sako Green! My two setups, bipod or benchrest plate.

I've been considering an Arca rail that would ride on a benchrest bag or shooting bag ok and accept a bipod, though I like the extended length (pivot) of the Spigot mount.
Especially in good lighting.......Nice! Gotta love the Sako Green!
Agreed, I just got the MK Machining Magneto Speed mount and using a picatinny rail mounted on the side of the forearm is flexi. Should work, but it's not ideal.Don't do the m-lok mounting on the side, not real sturdy.
