I put together a 22creedmoor today for a friend, Kelbly Atlas Tactical in a KRG Bravo, and I’m having some magazine issues. The mag is able to get up too high where the feed lips are stopping the bolt from closing. Easy enough to just push the mag down before feeding but I don’t want him to have to do that in a hunting situation. I’ve looked at other threads of feeding issues but couldn’t find one that matched this problem. Currently using a plastic MDT AICS mag. We tried the plastic magpul AICS magazine from my 22creedmoor and it was a little better but could still get in the way if pressure was put on the magazine or if you slapped it in forcefully. I don’t have any metal mags to try but that may be the solution. I wanted to see if anyone else had this problem or could think of any solutions. I thought about loosening the action screws but that wouldn’t raise it enough without the action just being loose in there. Rifle is a tack driver, already has a kill under its belt with less than a box through it, I just want to fix the feeding issue.
