Does anyone know if a Tikka long action will fit in a KRG X-ray? Seems like the only difference between long action and short action is the bolt stop and window? Was thinking of building a 6.5CM, but only stainless actions I can find at a reasonable price are long actions.

All Tikka rifles have the same length of action. That being said, you can only use the standard AICS magazines in a X-Ray. You will be limited to short action calibers. I built a 6.5 Creed, 22BR, and now 6 Dasher switch barrel on a Tikka T3 that started as a 270. I put an adjustable bolt stop in from High Velocity Hunting Australia and ended up at the long action position for 6.5 Creedmoor.
