I bought an Aero Solus Comp as my first bolt gun and I've been learning to shoot it. Recently I decided to pickup a KRG Whiskey 3 gen 7. I wanted the C4 but I got a pretty great deal on this one and I couldn't be happier.
Install was a little hectic. I took the whole thing apart to install the ARCA front end and probably didn't have to. The instructions said to remove the washer around the front screw - I didn't see one and I noticed the front screw didn't really stick up that much. But when I had the front end off I realized there are two plastic washers on the front screw inside the front end. I removed those - and put the whole thing back together. Torqued the front and rear to 65 in/lbs.
Now I'm thinking I maybe shouldn't have removed those two plastic washers.
That being said it shoots amazing. I always had problems with wrist position and pulling straight back on the trigger with the comp chassis but this one is super comfortable.
With the cheek pad and lop fully adjusted I can get on target pretty fast.
I'm really liking my DNT scope as well.
Right now I couldn't be happier with the setup. Eventually I'd love to upgrade the optic but for now it does everything I could need.
Eventually I'll put some kind of covered front end on it, maybe upgrade the TT to a diamond, and maybe get that tangent theta or ZCO - but for now this setup is everything I could have wanted and shoots way better than I do.
Thanks for everyone that helped me get here guys!
