Not really a 'gunsmith' post but close enough I think. May be some others that have set up a chassis for a Surgeon 591 SA repeater. I searched to see what might need done to these stocks and never came up with anything really so...
The normal handle clearance and bolt release need done. All the changes I did were by hand (I was in too big of a hurry to get them to a smith to have it done pretty!) Generation 4 stock.
I did notice if someone was in a hurry or not sure about Surgeon action mods you could actually bolt it in and things might seem ok but really be in bad shape.
Bolt release not only needs clearanced but just on the inside of the stock make sure you clear the radius on bolt release fence.
