Mods: Not sure if this is the right place to post this, so please let me know if it isn't...
I recently did a paintjob on my rifle, and got a bit carried away in the process, so I had a go at various other stuff as well...
(Lots of paint in them thar cans!
)
BUT... One of the items that got a makeover was one of my bino's. A Redfield with a rubbery surface. And, for some reason, the paint turned glossy after a few days, and the surface remains VERY sticky. Feels like uncured paint
, but there is no rub off at all.
My question is:
Is there any prepping agent that can be used on rubberized surfaces to prevent the paint going glossy? And that might take some of the "edge" off that sticky feeling...?
Or is it no go...?
