Hello everyone!
I'm looking to do a krylon spray paint job on my AR15, and just had a few questions.
First, I'll be painting the barrel, I don't see that being a problem but how will that hold up to the heat, if I do some rapid firing or something on the range? I'm sure it will be fine but just curious.
Second, is there anything really important I need to make sure is sealed off from the paint, I know the magwell and obviously close the dust cover, and tape the flash hider. But anything else? The little pin holes on some parts of the lower like where the forward assist is?
And last, I have an eotech and I'm still deciding on how to cover the lenses. The only thing I can really think of is just putting masking tape over the lenses, I just wanted to be sure it will not get through on the glass some how. Anyone have any tips or techniques on that?
Also I am still deciding on colors! Feel free post pics of personal pieces plz! And colors used and in which order
I can use all the tips I can get!
Thanks!
