I am looking for a binocular harness system, and I am 99% sure I am going to be using this system. My question is about the bottom attachment. In there video they show that you can (Velcro?) something to the bottom for a rangefinder. I am not seeing on their website or on youtube, how this system actually works. If you have one or had one and can you please let me know how this actually works. Thank you.

+1 on the Alaskan Guide Creations harness. I found it was superior to the Kuiu, for me. I use the Kodiak and it works great. Holds a range finder, binos, tags, small dope card and skinning knife.

I believe the Velcro on bottom of the Kuiu harness is for a 6 round card-type ammo holder. They sell a separate rangefinder case that is made to attach to either side of the bino holder (or hip belt of a pack) as well as a lanyard for a rangefinder. There are instructions somewhere on their website (iirc on the rangefinder case product page) that shows how it clips to the bino harness. I saw all this earlier today b/c they are currently running a sale on many of these items whicj I was checking out.

FWIW I really like the bino harness b/c it’s simple, lightweight and I can get binos in/out with one hand without looking. When not hunting I can unclip the straps of the harness from the bino cover part and use the cover as a case of sorts when storing binos in my truck console (use my binos daily on the ranch). I have Swaro 10x42SLC’s and they fit perfectly in the Kuiu case. I haven’t used the rangefinder attachment b/c I read in the reviews that my old Leica rangefinder (the ones about the size of a ham sandwich) are a little too big to fit.

Bud had one for a while.
His complaints were similar to above.
When the binos were out it didn't keep station ready to accept replacement.
He runs an Alaskan guide now.
I use a Marsupial harness and love it.
Both of these are great depending on the options and sleekness you require.

I like the Kuiu and have about 40 days with mine so far. I don't find that mine dangles at all... Not sure how, as there is no weight to the top when the binos are out. Maybe users are leaving the chest strap too loose? Needs to be nice and tight. I have used the Sitkas, Badlands, and a few others and I like the KUIU so far the best. I have not tried the Alaska ones mentioned above, but I dont see a need to yet. Personal preference for everyone.

I have found these are my favorite as they don't hang off the back of your neck. The chest strap needs to be tight and you have no issues with this harness at all. I use the Swaro EL 10x42s in the size L. Tight fit height wise pendign where you have your eye cups at. I also have the range finder pouch on the side of the bino case with a short lanyard. Works perfect for one handed operation of both.

Super lightweight. Easy to use. Stays put. And no issues at all. Im in the Kuiu camp here. And I am not loyal to the brand, just use the kit that works for me regardless.

After everything that was stated and done, I went with the Alaskan Guide Creations Cub Max bino system. I needed something that could handle my range finder, binoculars, and kestrel. It seemed like the best fit for my needs. Thanks you all for you input.
