Kyle's defense fund

We don't need 17 year old kids crossing state lines making decisions about who to shoot during a protest along a city street.
No they shouldn't, they should not have to. but here we are in a time when our Government is standing mute against Marxist riots in the streets and our media is encouraging it to continue and fanning the flames. The decision he made was to stand and defend his community, from what I see the young man made good calls on who to shoot and held it together splendidly showing control and restraint. Open your eyes to the times we are living in. Study the history of the French & Russian revolutions and appreciate where you are in our timeline. Then stand or get on your knees, that's the only decision ahead of us.

Anyone know where I can donate directly to Kyle and not to a general fund?

Just for general info. Just hit an email back from Fightback. The original donate to Kyle button, that disappeared from the site fir a while, was due to no chicanery or ill intent. When they posted it, it was hit do much it could not handle the transaction rate and has a crash. That’s why it reverted back to the old cached view of the site without the “Kyle” button and only the generic “Donate” button.

anyway... cool they got back at all given the volume they are dealing with... better so many people hit it that it crashed.

I’d love to on ow the total.

Supporting Kyle's defence is just as important as any other cause we've had in years. If the courts can railroad this young man with the most obvious self defense claim I've ever seen... Sometimes the most important thing we can do for the future has nothing to do with the range. We can justify dropping $2K on a scope. Let's let go of some green and do the right thing here. I have and will again.

Attorney John Pierce of Los Angeles told ABC News that he has been retained to represent Rittenhouse.

"We will obtain justice for Kyle," said Pierce, adding he was headed to Wisconsin Thursday night to meet with his client's family and appear at Rittenhouse's bail hearing on Friday.

Pierce said he has established a legal defense fund for Rittenhouse through a Texas 501(c)(4) nonprofit called #FightBack Foundation Inc. that was formed by him and Georgia attorney L. Lin Wood.
From what GOA told me via email, they are helping Kyle also, did they hire the lawyer?

How do you find a lawyer that had no offical income in past year and bunch of shady financial grifts and trust him he is your best bet option? And didn't the Lin Wood say he is doint it pro bono ?Why then 400k$ spent

Pierce, who prosecutors say had no income last year, monthly expenses of $49,581, and debt of $1.2 million, was sued in July over allegations that he failed to pay rent on a $1.3 million home in Ventura County, California.

In a motion filed Thursday morning, Kenosha County Assistant District Attorney Thomas Binger cited public records and news reports as he alleged that Pierce has “significant personal financial difficulties” and argued that he should not be allowed to represent Rittenhouse because “money that should be held in trust for the defendant may instead be used to repay attorney Pierce’s numerous creditors.”

The prosecution’s motion raised questions about the #FightBack Foundation
, a group that served as the online fundraising arm for Rittenhouse’s defense. The foundation, which is now focused on challenging the presidential election results, took credit for raising the $2 million needed to free the teen on bail last month.
Prosecutors described it as “an unregulated and unreported slush fund” with close ties to Pierce. He helped start the foundation a few weeks before the Kenosha shootings, but he has told the Tribune he stepped away from its board to avoid any conflicts related to his involvement in the Rittenhouse case. -Chicago Tribune

Pierce's partner in the #FightBack foundation is Rittenhouse attorney Lin Wood of Georgia - who tweeted last week that the foundation had "successfully raised $2M cash bail for Kyle Rittenhouse & funded over $300K for his attorney’s fees & expenses. The foundation used approx. $400K of its general funds for Kyle."
The lawyer for Kyle Rittenhouse has already suffered two very public defeats tied to his mess of a financial situation. The Harvard Law School educated John M. Pierce stepped down from the Board of the #FightBack Foundation months ago, which was raising funds in part for the Kenosha shooter. Now, Pierce has stepped away from the Rittenhouse criminal defense just hours after the Wisconsin prosecutor said Pierce’s involvement with donations provided “ample opportunity for self-dealing and fraud.” Then, the next morning, today, Pierce was on TV with Wendy Rittenhouse soliciting money yet again, stating “we need millions of dollars more for [Kyle’s] legal defense.” .

in August 2019, a Forbes reported Pierce had been accused of financial self-dealing.
In addition, Pierce and his firm, Pierce Bainbridge Beck Price & Hecht LLP (“Pierce Bainbridge”), also repeatedly pledged the same collateral in exchange for millions in cash. Repayment obligations were not fulfilled, and at least four cash advance lenders sued Pierce Bainbridge and related entities, including, in certain instances, John Mark Pierce Enterprises. (A 90-second video covers severe financial issues at Pierce Bainbridge. A $65 MillionMoney Mystery with Pierce Bainbridge, Virage Capital and Hecht Partners covers more odd financial activity.)
Furthermore, Pierce, in his firm’s name, essentially pilfered $2.5 million from a payday lender in Queens, New York in February. A $4 million money judgment has been entered against the firm and related entities.
Lots of financial issues going with John Pierce. Perhaps a pattern is developing of Pierce involving himself in money raising issues and withdrawing only after troubling issues are exposed.

So let me see if I get this straight. A lawyer, who's supposedly helping Kyle 'the Kid' Rittenhouse, is allegedly ripping off 'the Kid' as well as pissing off ALL of the Freedom Loving, Firearm affectionado's in the U.S.A.?

Did I get that straight?

If so, sounds to me like something needs to be 'reset'. That, and there'll be an influx of organs on the transplant market.
