L.C. M118LR, 175 match

Does anyone have experience with L.C. M118LR 175 grain Match, and if so, how does it compare to, Federal GMM, Black Hills or Hornady??

It's good stuff, I've shot quite a bit of it. It has been replaced by Mk316 because the M118LR was found to be heat sensitive.
I have used it up into the 90-deg temp ranges without issues. It compares equally to FGMM 175 on accuracy.
I have not used any of the BHA 175-gr loads, but I personally had poor results with both the 168 AMax, and 168-SMK loadings.

I shoot the M118LR in my Sako TRG's and GAP rifles.

Mk316 = 41.7 gr of 4064, FGMM primer, 175 SMK.
I have shot tons of the M118LR. Good stuff. GREAT brass. If you have any you want to get rid of let me know.

My rifle likes the 118LR better than FGMM. It shoots a bit faster as well. My original chrono was 2714 @ 64*F. Latest was about 2685 @ 41*F, after 800 more rounds have been down the tube. Either way, it would be my go to if I needed to grab one round for the rifle.

I'm shooting a 24". Lowest shot I have on record is 2665.

No. Lake City LR brass was used in the M118LR. Mk136 is a different round made by Federal. The military mk316 and commercial 7.62 GMM load uses an FC Case with 2-digit year on the headstamp.

Hmmm, that's slow at the muzzle... Try 2550fps at 78ft same as the old school M118NM loading.
