Has anyone had experience with both of these seating dies? If so, which gave you the best results? Im planning on the l.e. wilson with the micrometr but im curious about sacs conventional style seating die in comparison. I know they also have an inline style die as well but im curious about their "the" seating die. Their quality is outstanding and am curious if they are even comparable They run roughly the same price when you add an arbor press into it so give me your thought.

With all due respect, you're kind of asking the wrong question. The right question is ... "Do I want an inline seating die, or a conventional press die?" You answer that with whether or not you want to use the die to measure seating force, like with an AMP Press or an Arbor Press. If the answer is "Yes", then the Wilson inline dies are terrific, top quality. If you don't measure seating force, then the right question is "Which press-based seating die best meets my needs. And that's a whole other discussion between all the press-based options.

Brother you don't have to say with all due respect lol. You aren't gunna hurt my feelings with your answer. On the topic at hand you bring up a good point. In my head when asking I was thinking in terms of which is going to have the best repeatable and consistent numbers and well as have the best runout. I know runout to a certain extent doesn't matter but the better the ammo is made the better its going to shoot so if I can get straighter made ammo why not if im also getting more important benefits like better consistency and repeatability. Eventually I'd more than likely go with the amp press but it's in a long line of things I also want/need. Im leaning towards the l.e. wilson die bc of the reputation of their inline dies being sort of the gold standard of precision reloading but was just wondering if a company like sac that makes really high quality conventional dies could make as good of ammo as an inline die like l.e. wilson.

Good perspective. In my experience with both inline (LE Wilson) and press-dies (Redding and Hornady) ... if you've measured correctly and brass is prepped properly, both results will be good. The game-changer is when you use the inline dies with an AMP Press or Arbor Press to get consistent seating force. That's what made a big difference for me. Go buy an AMP Press ... she (probably) won't divorce you (maybe).

Hahaha

Annealer is completely not needed to shoot very low sd and small groups.

The seating die is amazing but both will produce about the same ammo. I prefer the press mounted system and the Wilson does are not interchangeable for calibers like the sac

That's a good point. It's all 308 base sized cartridges correct? And the sleeve and seating stems are what's changed out? I can't remember and im too lazy to look it up right this minute. Lol
