First time post here. I just purchased a Labradar and picked this battery charger based off a couple guys recommending on another forum.

I read the manual and tried to search the internet, but I can't find an answer. I'm wondering, does this USB battery pack always have to be plugged in to supply the Labradar with power, or is the Labradar supposed to hold a charge with the USB battery pack so that the external battery pack can be disconnected and then powered on? I put in 6 batteries and know it works with the batteries. With batteries removed and USB battery pack plugged in there is a "charging icon" (looks like a power chord) and it powers on and looks good to go. After I had the USB pack hooked up for a few hours (assumed it was supposed to hold a charge) I removed USB and battery pack and the Unit will not power on. I guess I'm just hoping that the USB pack is constantly supposed to be plugged in then and that the unit is working as it was designed. Thanks in advance for help with this.
